The purpose of the association Pro Kuusamo ry Association is to protect nature, environmental and cultural values of Kuusamo and its neighboring communes. 

Pro Kuusamo ry want to preserve Kuusamo as a place where pure nature is a sustainable source of livelihood. 

We see this as a goal of a winning strategy today and tomorrow, for the future generations.
